I have dry and sensitive skin so can't use stuff with perfumes in. Has anyone got some good recipes for moisturising natural face masks that really work? There's so many ingredients. Avocado, honey, yoghurt, asprin etc but I'm a bit clueless as to what to do!

Any ideas gratefully recieved MNetters!

I think asprin is for a congested or blackheady skin (asprin is a derivitive of a form of salicylic acid).

honey - you can cleanse with (I remember donkeys years ago reading a Linda Evans book -she of Dynasty fame- she used honey. You need to tap it onto the skin, it becomes tacky and it deep cleanses) Bit messy though.

What about Vit E capsules? Holland and Barrett would sell them, you can add to your moisturiser.

When I was pg with DD my skin got so sensitive I could only cleanse with water, I found Almay was the only brand that didn't irritate.

Coconut or olive oil!

Either use it as a moisturiser or rinse it off with warm water and a flannel.

Oats are really soothing, so you could try oats and honey. That should moisturise and calm.
