Help! Would you wear you Ash Jalouse in the rain?

I'm going out tonight to meet a friend for dinner and want to wear my new Ash Jalouse but it's going to rain later arghhh. Just tried on an alternative pair of boots and they don't cut it. I can't be bothered changing my outfit. I just panick sprayed them with a nano protector. Don't know if that will do anything.

No, I didn't wear them. I chickened out. It was raining quite heavily. Mine are a bit big and was wondering if I should have bought a smaller size, would it be wrong to buy insoles for them?

I googled because I am so out of touch, but this made me laugh in the context of the thread-

" Jalouse is a 'go everywhere, wear anytime' ankle boot"

I think I'll stick to my Timberlands!

I've sold my Jalouse now, but yes, once treated, I'd wear them in the rain (probably not standing in torrential rain for a long time, but walking through a shower for a short time, absolutely). I'm a firm believer of actually wearing the clothes I buy, otherwise what's the point? And I also think since they already look a bit roughed up, a bit of damage doesn't affect their looks anyway.

I wear mine in the rain all the time and they are A-Ok. Mine are the older smoother leather version though.

curlew Xmas Grin

I wish I had worn them now, hey how will give them an outing tomorrow night instead.

katatonic mine are okayish to put on they're a little narrow and snug but also quite long! Once on they are super comfy.

Thank you ladies for your replies, I should have taken a chance.
