ash jalouse sizing (I know I am late to the party!)

Normally DH and I don't do presents for each other but this year we are making an effort due to a rather demanding year.
I have decided that, after getting through various suede ankle boots, I would like some decent Ash jalouse boots. A quick search on here indicates various issues with sizing with some recommending to size down. I have to order online and am a size five and wonder if I should order a four. Any recent experiences to report?

I am between a 4 and a 5 and so bought size 4 , which are just right . Maybe even a teeny bit tight on one toe. The size 5 were too big by far .

Thanks aoifaz, I am a definite five on one foot (other foot slightly smaller). Perhaps I should get the five.

I'm between sizes and sized down. They are perfect fit.

I'm a size 5 in pretty much everything and I got the 5. They are slightly large but I don't think the 4 would have fitted as I have wide feet. The 5 and an insole are perfect.

ASOS have them in black and they've 25% off everything today. The code is 25XMAS
