Babyliss Perfect curl or a curling wand?

Obviously there is a huge difference in price.

Is the extra cost of the perfect curl worth it?

I don't have one (because of the price) but from what I've seen I'd say so. I'd certainly be getting one if I could afford it. Curling your whole head with a wand would take about an hour, with BabyLiss PC it could take 10 mins.

Thats the conclusion I had come to.

It would be for dcs xmas pressie....they have very very thick hair.

I usually use a wand, but my hairdresser curled mine with the perfect curl yesterday as I was interested in buying one. It was much quicker, but I thought the curl was a bit irregular and gave more of a messy style. Also, with the wand the curls last two days in my fine hair, with a messy wave (that i can get away with) on day 3, but I woke up with ratty hair this morning.

Apart from the speed, I'm not sold.
