In burgundy I was thinking

I really want this one

But it's £70 compared to £22 for the next one and so can't really justify it.

I actually prefer the next one. I find the colours on the Joules one a bit messy.

SirChenjin · 14/12/2013 22:52

I like the Joules one - it's the kind of thing I wear with thick tights and boots in the winter. The Next one is nice too though Smile

BunnyLebowski · 14/12/2013 22:53

The Joules one is lovely.

The Next one is really not. Looks like something Deirdre Barlow would wear.

bountyicecream · 14/12/2013 23:02

Yes I was thinking thick tights and boots with either.

Deirdre Barlow? Really?!? My bank was just about to breathe a sigh of relief

LOLz at Deirdre Barlow.

The Joules one is way nicer.

Financeprincess · 14/12/2013 23:17

...although Deirdre was once known as 'sexy specs'. So she must have had something going on...

bountyicecream · 14/12/2013 23:20

Is it £48 nicer though?

I much prefer the Next one. The colours and stripes in the Jules one leave me cold. Just dont buy it too tight, as these dresses can be so unforgiving.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 15/12/2013 17:59

Don't like the Joules one. Suspect the other would be nasty fabric though. And turtle necks not easy to wear.

charitygirl · 15/12/2013 18:05

YY - expect Next one flatters to deceive, material would be rank at that price. But Joules one is a bit mumsy. Move on!

monkeynuts123 · 15/12/2013 19:40

Mumsy and mumsy

Ladyglamalot · 15/12/2013 19:59

I think they are both horrible-sorry op.

PoshPaula · 15/12/2013 20:13

The Next one is unlikely to be good quality - it may not wash well. Which does count in a jumper dress.

BikeRunSki · 15/12/2013 20:17

My 2 yo dd would like the Joules one. The combination of plain top and horizontal sleeves would make me look massive. The next one will be cheap and nasty and sweaty.

Trills · 15/12/2013 20:18

They both look a bit warm, and like there's nothing you could do to be les warm if you were to find yourself in a warm shop or a warm house.

lifesgreatquestions · 15/12/2013 20:20

They are very different dresses do hard to compare. I would assume the next one couldn't possibly be great quality, however I've read reviews of other joules sweaters being very Bobble prone! Get both and wear the heck out of them this winter!

burnishedsilver · 15/12/2013 20:29

The next one is lovely in the picture but I've a feeling it might look like a sack after a few hours wear.

Twinklestein · 15/12/2013 21:37

Much prefer the Next one. Joules - bloody awful bright stripes, v unflattering and unstylish. It would be fine if you were 7.

Next stuff is never very good quality though...
