Which size babyliss big hair should I get please?

I have just below shoulder very fine hair with a long sleepy fringe. I don't know if the 50mm or the 42mm is better or if it really matters?

Can you do ay curling with it or do I still need to lust after the secret curl?

I have hair just touching my shoulders (bob) and have the 42mm still getting to grips with it, as yet all I seem to achieve is curling it under so much It looks like a bloody helmet!!!

Still hoping it's going to turn out amazing and I can do away with the strighters

I have both , not much difference in them tbh.

I used to have the bigger one, but it went bang and I replaced it with the smaller one. I prefer it. I have a shortish bob.
