Any HoC Natural Romantics?

Just checking if there's anyone else? Getting to grips with my colours, (autumn) and finding styling that suits a bit harder.

Would like to know if anyone has any recommended shops or ideas. Off to study up in my book as all I can remember is scoop neck & palazzo pants!

I didn't think it made that much difference, Travelin , which way round they put you.
So, although I know I shouldn't be on this thread, can you explain the difference, please, between a Natural Ingenue & an Ingenue Natural?

RonaldMcDonald · 09/03/2014 23:03

Is this what they mean?

Moving away from the pirate looks...

Anyone got any work dress suggestions that fit the natural romantic style? I've got skirt and tops but really hoped for the simplicity of a couple of dresses when I go back to work but most 'work' things are very slim pencil type dresses.

Hello! I have just got back from my style day and I "think" I am a natural romantic. I was really torn between this and the romantic natural. I think my consultant thought I was more romantic natural, however I think it is a bit gregarious for me.

Are there any good blogs for me to read or people to look up. Whenever I google natural romantic I get frills, ruffles, and gypsy which I HATE. Are there any people I should look for?

Seri77 · 27/04/2014 13:48

Did your consultant give you the romantic natural or natural romantic info sheet?

My natural romantic info sheet is all about "relaxed glamour...luxurious fabrics... not too scruffy, not too tarty". Nothing mentioned about frills and ruffles.

Sadly I'm stuck at scruffy Smile and haven't really come across any blogs, would love to get more ideas.

If your thoughts on your style personality differ from your consultant, why don't you ask him/her to clarify? I thought there was quite a difference between those two styles.

KosherBacon · 27/04/2014 14:03

We spent a long time going back and forth from natural romantic to romantic natural. I have both worksheets. I walked out thinking I was a natural romantic and my consultant emailed me to say she has been thinking I'm more of the 40's style of the natural romantic, if that makes sense. I do have some doubt that says "what if I'm actually a romantic natural?" I find them impossible to envision without being able to see pictures of people with those styles.

Seri77 · 27/04/2014 16:07

Maybe the consultant can point you to some 40s actresses perhaps. That would be interesting.

Ooh interesting-was just coming to resurrect this thread in case anyone has found any pieces in the shops recently?

I'm starting a new job on Thursday so will be in an office & dressing a bit smarter than I have for the last year! Got a couple of bits from h&m & charity shops but looking for a below knee fit & flare type dress if anyone has seen anything-I find it quite difficult to find a low/scoop neck now too.

I'd also like To read any blogs etc for inspiration

I am still having shopping paralysis since my style day. I am happy and agree I am a natural romantic, but am REALLY struggling to find anything. Like evelynj all the fit and flare dresses are quite high necked.

Has anybody bought anything good recently?

JenniMoo · 13/05/2014 08:08

I have a dress from m&co but it us very high necked. DH reckons I should keep it anyway... I was really hoping I could find work dresses in a suitable style but not much luck...
Sorry for the unhelpful post!
