Blow dry products to go with BigHair styler...?

I have succumbed and bought a Big Hair styler. Its only day two so I'm still getting the hang of it but I'm very pleased with today's efforts! Thing is, I don't use ANY product on my hair ever but think that it might be a good idea to get something for both holding the style properly and also heat protection. I cannot bear hair feeling as if it has stuff on so it needs to be light. My hair is also quite fine, though plenty of it, and I was it every day.
Any recommendations...?
Thanks!

For hold I use hairspray afterwards, and for heat protection I use Moroccan Oil or Aussie leave in conditioner spray. The best thing you could do to protect it is not to use the BigHair every day - my hair is 'fine but lots of it' too and I find if I use a heat styler every day it looks ratty quite quickly. With the BBH it still looks good the next day anyway.

The John Frieda volume blow dry lotion is good with the BBH - but it sounds like you wouldn't like the stickiness of it. I found the "Tigi Bed Head Blow dry lotion for thick massive hair" to be really lightweight. My hair is fine too and I'm really impressed with this one…. and I've tried lots!! Not cheap though… I got it at SuperCuts for £11.50 but I'm sure you can get it cheaper somewhere else or online.
