What to wear with grey chunky knit skirt

Hi I bought this skirt that I really like from tesco's, it is comfy and I think it could be great for work or casual. But now that I have it home, I can't find anything to match with it!

Can't find it on their website but would describe as grey knitted (chunky knit) short pencil skirt (it stops above knee, is that still pencil? Or tube)

Possibly more knitwear? Either a fitted cardi with a belt or something very loose, and boxy or batwing?

I will try a knitted cardi with it, just what top underneath- cotton jersey tops look odd. I do have batwing type v neck loose jumper, will try it! ( am away for weekend though, hence slow reply sorry. Will try when I get home)
