Settled for this dress after returning about 20 others. It's flattering and fits. After having DS2 a few months back I'm grateful just for the latter. Now I can't find anything to go with it. Black looks all wrong so I've ordered a fake fur stole in grey but can I find grey/silver satin or any fabric shoes that are not 4 inches high. I'm nearly 5' 10" and look better in something I can walk in.

Dark Green goes well with Purple

Or even a lighter, brighter green, moving up towards lime.

Dune full shoe sparkly
Dune sparkly sandal

I saw both of the these on cheshire oaks retail outlet a couple of weeks ago and they are both lovely. The second one has about 1.5 inch heal.

Go for a silvery clutch, grey stole and maybe some silver coloured jewlery and your done.

Lovely dress.

How about these?

or, if you really don't want to go too high, these

I've seen these in RL and they have a lovely sparkle that's not too over-the top or blingy.

Actually have the second pair, in lizard, and they are very comfortable.

If you went with something like these, or a plain silver or grey, they'd go with anything else and so last ages for special occasions, whereas if you went with green it would be more tying, I think.

Anything in the peacock range of colours goes well with purple.
