Osprey bags - any good?

Just thinking of buying a festive treat for myself in the way of an Osprey leather bag.

I haven't seen their bags in the shop and won't be going to the shops now until after Xmas and new year sales, so can anyone tell me if they are good quality and a nice product as I will be buying online?

dancergirl yes! the strap is adjustable and quite long. It's why I chose it but in fact I rarely use it. I've got used to carrying it in the crook of my arm after years of shoulder bags.

I agree with Twinklestein actually. The best bags are their Pebble Grain ones which last beautifully without marking.

I have four osprey bags the first one i purchased used every day for work and it still looks great 4 years now... i love the classic vintage looks which never date .although some people decried as 'boring 'I prefer to say 'classic' and /or elegant . I have a large tote in red a tote in black and two bags one red one black which I use 'going out.. I always feel smart. I clean them with facial wipes and that keeps them looking good. the lining although a bit grubby now is not torn or worn out . I clean the lining but cant help the odd spillage. If you look after any bag it will last and look good . not expensive for what you get compared to some that cost from twice to twenty times as much. I have had a Burberry bag now for 20 years and still looks good more 'fun' bag with the checks. Osprey becomes better with age softer but still keeps its shape.. enjoy your bag and treat yourself or put on your Birthday list
