I need a maternity dress on a low budget

I ordered a nice dress off Asos only to find nearly a week later that i had an email which I hadn't noticed telling me the order hadn't been processed. I now need a nice dress that I can buy on the high street so that I can try it on, for around £20 by friday evening. Help!

Fuckity. Right. So, what size are you after? Any preference on colour? Occasion?

New look have a fairly decent selection, as do h&m. Top shop good but expensive. Same with Next. Good luck! Oh also Primark do great stretch jersey bodycon dresses that I lived in when pregnant.

I'm a size 6-8, any colour is fine really. Preferable just above the knee. And it's for DH's work xmas do and my work xmas do. I'm 35 weeks pg for the first of those events so unlikely to get more than a couple of wearings out of it. I will try New Look and H&M. No Primark nearby sadly and Topshop seems too expensive as does Next. Local Dorothy Perkins doesn't see to do maternity any more which is a shame because their clothes usually fit me well.

You should be able to order into store in time, I'd think. Do DP's still do that?
