Just can't work out my season

I have tried finding out what season I am but just can't work it out.

Anyone able to give me a clue. I wear NW20 mac foundation so I am definitely cool toned and pale with redness to my skin. I have dark green eyes with navy blue rims and golden brown in the middle. My hair is a medium brown and has an ashy dull quality to it. I don't seem to have the contrast that of a cool summer.

Your eye colour and hair make no/little difference. At House of Colour, they cover your hair while doing the draping.

I would save up for an analysis - you will save money by not making any more mistakes when buying make up, clothes and jewellery.

Fwiw I have been matched with a 'cool' mac foundation in the past and am an autumn. It really is impossible to be certain without an analysis.

You sound just like me! Both in terms of trying and failing to work it out, and your colouring. I went to House of Colour and the consultant found me quite tricky - turns out I'm a blue autumn: an autumn, but close to winter. No wonder I couldn't get it myself! Get thee to a consultant.

I think soft summer. Look around pinterest soft summer and see if that seems about right x NW20 is neutral fair leaning cool but not absolutely cool. What do you think are your best colours?

Aquelven · 08/12/2013 20:29

I'm NW15 in Mac & been draped as a Blue Spring by HoC.

I think you maybe right Flangeofminetown. i looked at the pinterest and the examples look very similar to me. I feel as soon as I put any make up on that I look more like a winter.

I think realistically I will have to get myself to a consultant. Think I will do it in January and make a good start to the year
