If someone like Coco Mademoiselle

What other perfumes would they like. DMIL wants perfume for Christmas but knows that DSIL's new boyfriend has bought her coco mademoiselle, which she loves.

I have a toddler, a very full on full time job, and don't really have the time to trawl the beauty halls, so am appealing for help.....pleeaase

I like that. I also like Chanel Chance, most fragrances by Dior - eg Dolce Vita, Kenzo Flowers, Nina Ricci Premier Jour.

Chanel Chance or Premier Jour are my next favourites.

I used to wear mademoiselle but have now changed to chanel allure. Both are lovely scents

You could try CK Euphoria Blossom too, distinctive enough from Coco but still in the same area, IMO.

I like that its quite a sweet smell. I also love nina ricci and marc jacobs.

Feel unique had at least 15% off all fragrances at the mo. Maybe stick with the Chanel range :-)

Would you consider the lotion etc to match the perfume? I don't like other perfume than the one I wear.

I would gently disagree I love perfumes and never use body lotion. My heart would sink if I got a body lotion as it would be such a waste.

But the matching showergel/bath stuff would be a hit . I do wash, just CBA with lotions after...

Have you heard of the Lidl perfume, Suddenly Madame Glamour?

It is the exact replica of coco mademoiselle, I have it! The pro is that it's under a fiver, the downside is that it doesn't last as long as the real stuff.

Seriously, it was discussed on Women's Hour last week by a perfumier saying that it has the exact same smell.

My mum must have been listening to that programme, it'sOk ! Dsis and DSil were peeking through mum's 'secret' present cupboard and found 3 bottles of it - one for each of us it seems. Lovely

thanks for those suggestions....I had thought of doing the shower gel/ body lotion in coco mademoiselle, but I think DMIL wants a different fragrance.

have an afternoon in town without DD coming up (my birthday treat....boozy lunch and shopping) so will try and sniff some of those

I used to wear coco years ago and remember it as very heavy and spicy. I imagine mademoiselle is a lighter version.
Could you go classic and get her something like Guerlain: shalimar or samsara, both sweet and spicy? Opium, there is a light version of that and it pretty spicy?

Look up any perfume and in the sidebar, ones that other people that like your perfume also like come up. You can also search by note or fragrance family (eg oriental, floral etc). Extremely helpful.

I use Coco Mademoiselle, Coco and Chanel Number 5. Love them .

I use the lidl one and I and my whole family prefer it to coco. At 3£ it's ALOT cheaper too.

Because of it I got my SIL a Lancôme fume as its in the same family as her other ones. (La vie est belle) Brilliant, as I normally never wander over to Lancôme, and it came with a lot of extra gifts, like a mascara etc which she'll love too.

Chloe is warm and lovely too as is the new Chloe Love.

Rowingboat, Coco Mademoiselle is not much like Coco. It's quite a light sweet perfume in comparison and pretty citrussy - it's a bit more like JPG Classique but more modern-smelling.
