If you like sparkly nail polish, this is by far the best I have ever used.

I have been buying glittery nail polish for years trying to achieve this look. Even one coat looks great. Silver is the best but purple is nice too Smile.

Oooh thank you. I love the Barry M sparkly ones but find you need loads if coats so I'll give Rimmel a try.

OneLittleLady · 05/12/2013 17:46

ooh, i got the purple one last week, haven't tried it out yet but the colour looks fab Smile

JohnSnowsTie · 05/12/2013 17:51

Love it!

Is it a pain in the butt to get off though?

Keepthechangeyoufilthyanimal · 05/12/2013 17:55

Ooh thanks for this - I love all those colours! I swear by Rimmel for Nail polish anyway but am yet to try a glittery one.
adds all 5 colours to christmas list

HoHolepew · 05/12/2013 17:57

Ohh nice I've been looking for a green one.

hermioneweasley · 05/12/2013 18:18

This Nails Inc sparkly top coat is the best I've used. Lasts for ages but you don't need a chisel to get it off

Great, I'm after some nice glittery nail varnish, I'd like red though.

The lady who served me in Spar today had some lovely gold glittery nail varnish on, it looked really nice.

Dontletthemgetyoudown · 05/12/2013 19:04

The jack will glitter nail Polish is fab. Two coats gives really good cover. To remove I soak a cotton pad in nail varnish remover then cover it in Tin foil over my nails five minutes and it just comes off with a twist. Easy peasy

I have an OPI glitter (from the Muppets range a couple of years back - Rainbow Connection)

A few layers layered up looked amazing - but it chipped in great big lumps, but the laquer that was left of was a nightmare to remove.

WhoKnowsWhereTheMistletoes · 05/12/2013 21:21

I've got the silver Rimmel one and thought it was no better than any other glitters I have tried (OPI, Barry M, Essie, Nails Inc' Maybelline). The coverage was maybe a little better but it started peeling off within 24 hours and the remainder was, as usual with glitters, extremely hard to remove.

WhoKnowsWhereTheMistletoes · 05/12/2013 21:25

Ah, ok, take that back, mine is Rimmel Precious Stones silver glitter, don't buy it by mistake for the Space Dust one.

Meglet · 05/12/2013 21:33

dontletthemgetyoudown getting glitter off is such a PITA. I'll try your trick next time.

I love Models Own Ibiza mix glitter polish.

OneLittleLady · 05/12/2013 22:04

The Cutex Moisture Guard nail polish remover is brilliant at getting glitter polishes off your nails. Takes every scrap of any polish off with no hassle at all

FracturedViewOfLife · 05/12/2013 22:17

I don't rate normal Butter London nail varnish much but the glitters they do are amazing.

cocobongo · 05/12/2013 22:29

I really like this one, goes on really easily too (for someone like me who is hopeless with nails), bourjois sparkling . I bought a sparkling pink instore (it doesn't seem to be online). PLUS they are doing a decent free gift when you spend £15 on bourjois products.

WhoKnowsWhereTheMistletoes · 06/12/2013 00:06

That's the remover I use OneLittleLady (I've checked this time!) - I really would have to disagree. It's brilliant at getting regular polishes off but I have to scrub and scrub with it to get glitters off, takes about 10 minutes. Might try the foil trick next time.

GwendolineMaryLacey · 07/12/2013 21:20

I'm wearing the Rinmel silver space dust one now. Put it on yesterday and it looked fab. Now 36 hours later it looks a bit like a gravel path. First time I've used it so it looks like it might be good for a one off occasion but not so great to wear for a few days.

JoanRanger · 07/12/2013 21:28

It looks like Rimmel's version of OPI's Liquid Sand. I just got a nice Liquid Sand one – muted silvery rose pink shade.
