Its for my Christmas night out this weekend, will wear it with opaques and High suede shoe boots (if i feel confident enough to wear it).

I've just modelled it for my dc and been told:-

Ds - "you look like Cameron Diaz" Grin - good lad!

Dd - "you look nice, but I don't want you to goooooo, I will miss yooooooooo (sob sob Sad)

So thoughts please? My concern is that I am late thirties and not sure I can carry it off.

I like it. I wouldn't have the confidence to wear it as it's pretty short but you'll look fabulous if you look like Cameron Diaz Xmas Envy.

dexter73 · 05/12/2013 17:04

The link isn't working for me Sad it just goes to the homepage. What is it called?

FauxFox · 05/12/2013 17:07

lovely. wear it Grin

sparklysilversequins · 05/12/2013 17:09

Well I've got long blonde hair but that's about it on the CD front. I kind of thought the opaques would help to negate the shortness.

Looks lovely, and sparkly without being over the top, I like it :)

RobinSparkles · 05/12/2013 17:12

Yes, it won't look as short with opaques. It looks shorter on the model as she has bare legs and she's probably very tall.

Definitely wear it! It's a real Christmas party dress Xmas Smile.

Its lovely! Really pretty.

sparklysilversequins · 05/12/2013 17:17

Thanks Bunny. Yes I am considerably shorter than that model Grin so it doesn't look as short on me.

Thanks Bunny! It's a lovely dress.

bunnymother · 05/12/2013 17:18

Fantastic - wear it and have fun! I have something similar that I last wore w opaques and shoe boots and also a black velvet tux blazer (I feel the cold), so I think you and I might have similar taste.

sparklysilversequins · 05/12/2013 17:26

I think so too Smile, I adored that gold sequin skirt from Primark you linked to a while ago and was outside the next day when they opened to get it. I live in London and things sell out fast here. Mad about sequins though, nothing like them for a night out.

burnishedsilver · 05/12/2013 18:36

Big thumbs up.

Oblomov · 05/12/2013 18:41

Lovely

Wishfulmakeupping · 05/12/2013 18:45

Very nice

Ifancyashandy · 05/12/2013 18:58

It's lovely but I think opaques will ruin it - too unbalanced with the bare arms and shoulders. I'd go for bare legs.
