Square face and reasonably strong jaw...is a fringe a no?

I fancy the idea of a fringe, partly to up-date my look, partly to minimise wrinkles (I'm 41 soon). My hair is a messy layered bob at the moment, and I'd keep the rest similar. Thinking about something like http://www.hairpediaclub.com/dianna-agron-messy-bob-hairstyle-for-party-hair-look.html

But my face-shape is square - does this mean a fringe wouldn't work?

Great. LInk fail.

I wouldn't rule it out. It's a nice cut. Maybe use hairclips to arrange your hair in such a way to recreate a fringe to get a feel for how it would look.
