Warm wool socks to wear with boots

I want some warm woolly socks to wear with my boots. I have 3 pairs including cowboy boots, Ash Jalouse and slightly biker style ankle ones. Happy to wear the socks scrunched and peeping out of the top or ankle length and completely hidden but just keeping my toes toasty.

Any suggestions? These are to go on my Christmas list to DH and I'd like some lovely ones - I'm pregnant and want something nice that I can wear without regard for what looks good over my bump, is it comfy today or not, which is always my issue with maternity clothes etc.

I have some good ones from Celtic Sheepskin (but last year so not sure what they have this yr!)

Not completely wool but v toasty - H&M do 3 packs for about £8. Usually in the boxes near the tills - I bought some the other day with Russian doll designs.

If you want really warm socks the best place to buy them is a shop that specialises in outdoor clothing. Blacks, Sports Direct, other camping specialists.

There's a company called DeFeet who make great wool socks called "Woolie Boolies". You can buy them online at places like Wiggle. DH used them for cycling in the winter in the UK and still uses them over here, where it's a damn sight colder.

I have a couple of pairs too. They're really hard wearing.

Possum wool socks from Kiwikate. They are awesomely warm. I am snuggled into mine plus a pair of sheepskin slippers right now.

Thank you - some good suggestions! I have provided DH with pictures and links and will leave him to do the rest :)

M&S cable thermal ankle highs definitely make a difference to my feet

try a skiing or hiking shop.
They have some lovely, softly padded, warm socks.

Not a fashion destination but Costco did some really good merino socks in a three pack last year. They had a double thickness sole. Gorgeous and cosy and comfy too I'm sure they'll have them again. .

Falke - the only tights and socks I wear.
