Preferably non falling down, nice looking, warm and reasonably priced.
Should say I am 5'8" and a size 18.
Please?

I find Tesco tights to be rather generous both width and height wise. I bought a size L/XL in their fleece lined tights and they are roomy on the hips without being overly big but, on me, they are much too long. At least a good six or seven inches too long in the leg in fact. For context, I am 4'11'' but big on the hips

Supermarket tights. At least Tesco and Sainsburys are very long and generous. I like the fleece lined black tights.

Thank you both - I have a pair of the fleece lined footless tights from tesco. They are very nice but only just reach my ankles. I might have a look at Sainsburys tomorrow.

I am 5'9'' and bigger than you and I find the M and S Autograph tights in XL fit well.

pS recommend their merino ones.

Thank you - I will try them too. Smile

I'm 5 ft 8 is too though only a 12, but find footless tights fit a lot better lengthwise. Or alternatively just cut the toes off normal tights and they then become long leggings.

And yy to M&S merino ones. They are gorgeously warm and a great fit.
