Down filled coats - is it normal for feathers to come out

I've got Boden's Stockholm coat that I bought last year.

The feathers are EVERYWHERE! All over the lining and all over my black cardigan and other clothes. I'm getting sick of having to pick them off everything.

Does this normally happen with this type of coat?

I would just say that I had a lot of feathers shedding with that Boden Stockholm coat after a few weeks so if this years version isnt doing it after that point they may have improved it this year, was wondering as I loved the coat!

I have bought this year's Boden Stockholm coat and have worn it every day for about 3 weeks. So far only one feather has peeped out... Keeping everything crossed that it doesn't start madly shedding!
