I have piddley little wrists and prefer Mens watches. HELP ME!

I would really like a new watch for Xmas since my Casio Felite gave up.

It was perfect as I like stainless steel, simple life proof watches. And my Casio was waterproof, radio controlled and fairly scratch proof.

G-Shock don't do ladies, and the Baby Gs look awful, and I like an analogue face.

Ideally, I'd prefer one that didn't need a battery, thus buggering up the waterproofing when it needs replacing.

Does ANYTHING like that exist for up to £150?

I know nothing about jewellery or watches. So if anyone can help me I'd be very grateful. Thanks

I've enclosed a picture of my old watch but I prefer round faces.

I'm willing to look at more expensive ones for ideas on where to start.

I have a round-faced titanium Tissot men's watch looks like this. Simple, waterproof and scratchproof, and not too huge on my also tiny wrists. Got it from a high street jewellers - Goldsmith's I think. Was around £170.

ElizabethBathory · 03/12/2013 15:41

Sorry I know it's over budget.

HoneyDragon · 03/12/2013 15:44

It's ok, I'll have a good look at them later Grin, hopefully they sales will help my quest.

I'm liking the concept of the Citizen Eco Drives. Anyone had one? Got one?

You can buy any watch you like and any half decent jeweller will take links out of the bracelet until it fits. Men's or women's is irrelevant

HoneyDragon · 03/12/2013 15:57

That's what I did with the Felite, but that was one of the few that had enough removable links to make it fit.

Because I like the stainless steel bands they are limited in how much they can shrink it.

I have little wrists and have the plain stainless steel Michael kors watch . They took out the links to make it fit .

HoneyDragon · 03/12/2013 23:20

I'll look at those, I've see. Some nice tissot too, I found it really hard to find just classic styles when googling.

I've got a masculine looking Michael Kors watch (think it is unisex, definitely seen it modelled by a man) and tiny wrists. Just had a few links taken out. Could be an option?

bishboschone · 04/12/2013 12:02

There is a nice titanium tissot but it wasn't quite big enough for me .

See that's what annoys me! Men get functional watches and dress watches.

Women only get dress watches, unless you get into Brietling/Tag prices, and even then it's more diamonds than sense on some.

I don't like bling which is why my simple Michael kors suits me .. I like the womens omega s but not enough to spend that much on. My dh offered to buy me one but I'm happy with my watch Smile

magicstar1 · 04/12/2013 14:14

I know you said you don't like Baby G, but I got this one last year and it's fantastic. MIL ordered one the day after I got mine cos she loved it too.

HoneyDragon · 04/12/2013 14:22

I loved that one but I don't like the black bits in the strap as much as I would if it were plain.

magicstar1 · 04/12/2013 15:02
