Dh will be buying me a boots gift card for Xmas he doesn't know yet
Because I am fed up of not having any make up or decent face cream
Nobody ever showed me how to apply foundation, concealer, eyeshadow etc the only thing I can do is mascara and eyeliner!
So can you please recommend some products
I don't want anything too expensive as I wont be able to afford to buy it regularly but I need a good foundation and concealer, blusher, make up brushes and face cream (combination skin in my late 20s so should I start using anti-wrinkle now?)
Any other recommendations would be great, I normally use a rimmel/maybelline mascara and eyeliner as they do a good enough job an are not expensive to buy

TIA Smile

For foundation I recommend going to the no7 counter in boots and getting colour matched. They are good quality but not too expensive. The collection lasting perfection concealer is cheap and very good. If it has to be in Boots rimmel do good eyeshadows and the maybelline 24hour cream tattoo eyeshadows are very good and last a long time. The rimmel lipsticks and glosses are good too. I would also recommend going on YouTube and watching some make up tutorials. It's where I learnt most of what I know. The pixiwoos sisters are make up artists who have hundreds of tutorials on there. The also have very good make up brushes called real techniques available in boots.

I hope that all helps! Also just play around with it, make up is fun!

Foundation - lots of people rave about Bourjois' Healthy Mix Foundation
Concealer - Collection 2000'sLasting Perfection concealer is amazing.
Blusher - Bourjois or Revlon
Make up brushes - Eco Tools and Real Techniques are both great brands.
Face cream - La Roche Posay/Una Brennan/Dr Nick Lowe good brands all available in Boots.

Thanks for the replies, it doesn't have to be in boots, I was going to ask for a boots gift card as I thought try miught have the most range and they do some of the bigger brands like benefit, clarins etc
I will definitely watch some tutorials though, I am literally hopeless!
