Are beauty exhibitions worth attending?

I came across a helpful online tool kind of thing at the weekend where you can add the selected exhibitions to your computer calendar so as to remind you when they are coming up - www.itrentals.com/resources/fashionandbeauty/ - but I thought I'd ask if they are worth going to as I've heard mixed reviews so far.

Has anyone ever to been to one and what are they like?

I've been to a Clothes Show Live about 8 years ago. It was fun, a big exhibition area setup with stalls from brands, and a 'fashion' show. There were some good bargains to be had on the stalls but you had to have your wits about you and avoid buying the 'lucky bags' of stuff as they were inevitably shit.
