My dd (aged 15) would like an electrical thingy to help curl her locks for Xmas Smile . As you can probably tell, I have no idea what to get her so would really appreciate some advice. She has beautifully thick long hair and my budget is about £50ish.

Please help! TIA

I prefer and get a much nicer curl from these heated rollers rather than tongs

Thanks, MWB. Will investigate this further.

I still find ghd straighteners are the best to curl with. I have long, thick, kinky hair (neither wave or curl Angry) and I have spent vast amounts in Wands, tongs, rollers etc but ghd curls work best for me.

This wand is brilliant. She needs to be careful not to burn herself like I do. Takes a bit of practice but gives very shiny, smooth, lasting curls. GHD curls drop out of my hair in 15 minutes, even when the hairdresser does them.
