Anyone with rosacea tried the Avene and/or la roche posay treatments?

I have mild rosacea (just general redness on cheeks and chin, not the bumpy sort) and have been wondering whether a moisturiser or treatment type cream could help settle it down a little? Has anyone tried either of the anti-redness lines in avene or la roche posay & are they worthwhile?

I live in France and saw a dermatologist who diagnosed me with slight rosacea. She recommended Avene. Even though I don't actually have rosacea (another dermato told me I didn't!) I still use Avene products and have completely simplified my skin care. I use the 'anti-rougeur' range (anti-redness) which consists of the milky cleanser (I wash it off with warm water/flannel) and the day cream which also has a SPF 20. I have in the past used the serum (not noticed any benefits) and the eye cream. Never had any reactions.

I think their range is fabulous. Reasonably priced, short list of ingredients and based on their own intensive research.

I think LRP is also very good but I have slightly oily skin so the dermato thought the Avene products were better for me.

Yes, me!

LRP was ok, nothing special and I reacted after a couple of weeks.

Aveene-I had a dreadful reaction too, made my skin like sand paper!

The best thing ever ime it's a cream called allergenics which is fantastic and only a fiver. The body shop aloe range its good too but avoid the face wash.
