I was in town today and a heavy shower came on, so I nipped into the nearest shop which happened to be...Bonne Marche (don't laugh, it was cold and wet Grin). Anyway, as it happens, they have some quite nice pjs, even for the under 70s, but what caught my eye was this. Up on the wall, in huge letters it said 'Many of our bras are available in a DD cup, just ask a member of staff'. Well, that's a bit depressing isn't it? A DD cup is some sort of special size, and what, they keep them in a special place where you have to ask for them? Confused

It's ridiculous. Fitted properly a dd is a really commom size. It's what most of the ladies who've spent their lives thinking they are an a or b cup actually fit.

I know. And then I saw that they had loads of sizes like 44C, 42B, 42A in the shop and I thought 'really? really?'. There must be staggeringly few women who are truly that size. Not saying they don't exist, we come in all shapes and sizes, but I'd guess that if everyone were fitted properly, there really wouldn't be a huge demand for that size.
