What to wear with black lace dress

I'm going on a works christmas night soon , wearing a black ,lace sleeved, knee length dress. Not sure if nude glossy tights or plain black tights would go with it ?? People seem to be divided on this ??

I'm going to keep an eye on this and see what the verdict is.

I'm also wearing a lace black dress for my work do. I was going to go bare legged with a bit of fake tan, is that not the done thing in Winter?

I am not a fashionista so this may be a stupid suggestion but I saw a woman at a do a while ago who looked stunning. She had Mediterranean type colouring and was wearing a black lace dress, black sheer tights, red shoes and big blingy red jewellery. The effect was really striking

I say go with the fake tan. Be brave! Glossy nude tights are hideous. If you must wear them, go matt. Black sheer is a bit Joan Collins and black opaque can look a bit heavy for evening.

Def not fake tan & bare skin.

I think it would probably look better with sheer black tights, altho I like nude glossies.

I've actually just tried on the shimmery sun kissed tights and decided on these . They look like I've got moisturised tamed legs!!
