Is it possible to style this dress for a christmas party? Bump just got too big for the dress I was planning to wear.

I was going to wear this great plains bird dress and had it all sorted. Wore it last night for a do but it's clear that my bump will be too big to squeeze in by the christmas part in two weeks.

So, to avoid spending more money. I have this Mint Velvet Lea Dress in my wardrobe since the sales which will fit but I'm not sure how to accessorise for a christmas party. No need to be too glam, as will be completely sober and due to random vomitting may not last the whole night. Comfort is essential. I'm thinking boots and cardi, but not sure.

Which colours and style of accessories would you choose?

Have ordered this mint velvet leila dress as a back up. Have at least 2 christmas parties to go to, but would prefer not to have to buy new stuff. What do you think?

And where the hell is Cod when you need her?

I'm no expert but I would say long gold tones necklace with the whitish one, with shoes or shoe boots. Could have cardi to warm it up a bit, slimline cardi nothing bulky i'd have thought!

Hope the experts come out in force tomo for u tho Grin

I think that first one would be lovely with thick black tights, boots with a bit of a heel and a chunky gold necklace.

Yes, bird dress was worn with thick black tights, black ballerinas and a mustard and gold necklace. But it just won't fit in two weeks.

It's the animal print one that's giving me problems. Is it just too summery? Also the pale colours make me feel huge.
