I would love to spread the bra intervention to over here in australia.

But really need to know how to convert underbust measurements to the relevent bra sizing over here as they go by clothing size rather than by tape measurements before I start.

Thanks Smile

does this help? www.sizeguide.net/bra-sizes.html

Walnut8 · 29/11/2013 10:42

Not sure whether I typed in the wrong numbers here: www.berlei.com.au/bra-size-calculator/
but I was "calculated" as being a 14A (bra intervention method measures me at 30E which is what I wear) ... WTF?

StatisticallyChallenged · 29/11/2013 10:45

Most calculators use the old plus four or five bollocks. .

Okay good. There is no way I'm an A cup, especially at the moment as I'm still breastfeeding!

Thank you Travelin

I shall spread the word down under.

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, etc.

That calculator puts me as a 12E which is equivalent to a 34E. I'm a 30GG. Mind you, closer than M&S who fitted me as a 38D/36DD.

I'm in Melbourne and can't find bras I like or that fit well.

I recently went on holiday to Hong Kong where I stocked up on bras and knickers. So now when I need more I will just buy them online.

Stocked up on M&S bras and knickers

If you're in Melbourne I can recommend the shop Dickory Dock www.dickorydock.com.au is the website - it's been a few years since I've lived in Melbourne but this was the only place I would by bras (I'm 30E/F depending on my weight! So I know how hard finding good bras is.)

My mother shops there as well - she's had a lumpectomy for breast cancer and has shopped there before and after her treatment - the staff know what they're doing to fit any bust size/shape (Mum is a B cup).

Hope that helps someone!

Brastop has free international shipping today (and occasional other times), so if you know what fits you can order from them.

Walnut8 · 29/11/2013 12:43

I honestly never understood the hype over M&S bras and knickers when I lived in the UK.
Where did you try in Melbourne Kimye? Are you an unusual size or you just didnt like the look of it?
