Party on Saturday, I've got my dress but I'm worried I will be cold

My dress is a tight LK Bennett shift. I will be wearing two pairs of tights but I would like to be able to take my cardi off. Is there anything I can do or wear underneath so I feel more comfortable?

Not sure if comfortable goes with glamorous. May have to choose between the two!

specialsubject · 28/11/2013 22:36

take a coat????

HyvaPaiva · 28/11/2013 22:40

How about heated insoles for your shoes? Like these from Amazon?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 28/11/2013 22:40

Where are you going? I can't think of anywhere indoors where you'd want two pairs of tights tbh.

TaraKnowles · 28/11/2013 23:55

Hyvapaiva they look great. Thank you for sharing.

It's just a pub, if it was a house party I wouldn't worry. And I smoke cigarettes so have to or choose to spend some time outside.

My mums friend always says style or comfort. I want both!

Can you not just sling a biker jacket over it? And maybe a fur stole?

MerylStrop · 29/11/2013 17:50

Um, unless you are in Birkenhead or Newcastle (where is faux pas, obvs), might a coat do the trick?

TaraKnowles · 29/11/2013 18:57

No I'm far from Birkenhead and Newkie, I live in a cold winter country. Settled snow. I'm thinking that a warm enough coat and a taxi home will do the trick, I do get cold inside the pub too, but hopefully there will be enough people and booze to chase the chills away. Cheers.

I bought myself a gorgeous black knitted huge shawl/wrap and it looks glam enough then obviously I hand the shawl to DP and the rest of the guests gasp in amazement at the stunning me under the shawl. Well perhaps not.

TaraKnowles · 29/11/2013 23:20

Haha pancakeflipper. I'll be alright, I was tonight in leggings and tights and a big coat. I might wear my silly Norway hat though.
