my ds is 13mth but my hair is rubbish. I lost lots after giving birth - it has always been fine, shoulder length mousey coloured but what can I use to improve it?

I had this too, DD2 is almost two and a half and it's only now almost all grown back and at one length. I have fine, slightly wavy hair and I find Kerastase good. I use Kerastase Bain Age Recharge, Ciment Anti-Usure and the Elixir Ultime after drying. I changed my parting and put a bit of mousse in before I blow dry it to make it look fuller. A hairdresser friend gave me supplements too, these, not sure if they helped but worth a try.

I had this so badly I had blood tests at the gp for it. They found I was very low in zinc and iron so I began taking supplements and it has helped a bit.

If you do decide to take zinc the gp said to go for a high dose one from hollland and barratt rather than a multivitamin as it has hardly any in comparison.

Vitamins, biotin esp. If you want to go nuclear on it: forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=83
