I've put my toe through my Ugg boots

Are they salvageable? Has anybody had a pair repaired? I need them to keep me warm while freezing to death pitch side on a Sunday.
If I can't get them fixed can anyone recommend an alternative? I'm not even that keen on them TBH, DH bought them a few Xmas' ago but they do keep me warm < well until I stuck my toe through them Grin>

No idea if they can be repaired, but i' ve done the same to mine. I was just going to stick something over the top & make a feature of it Grin

Both of mind have done this and I couldn't get them fixed. I have since bought celtic sheepskin ones which I haven't had a problem with so far.

WhereIsMyHat · 29/11/2013 18:48

Celtic sheepskin boots perhaps? There's a code for 20% off too, PERC

curiositykilledthekat · 29/11/2013 19:48

Mine did this too although they were worn to death. I tried to stitch it which looked ok for a bit as they were sand colour, so pale anyway. Now they are relegated to house slippers!

CaptainTripps · 29/11/2013 23:01

Did this with mine. They are real weak on the suede where the big toe rests. And there was me worrying about how long the soles would last! Soles were great. Suede was rubbish.

notapizzaeater · 29/11/2013 23:03

Did this with my last pair, keep checking my new pair and they are going to go in the same place - according to ugg its how I walk !

Hopasholic · 02/12/2013 00:26

Thanks for the replies, will check out the Celtic ones, cheers for the code wheresmyhat.

Looks like they'll be put to use as slippers Smile

See notapizzaeater you really shouldn't walk with your big toe in front of you Confused.

Mine did this.. lasted 18m before my toe actually went through.
But I have tried other brands (Bearpaw) and they are just not as snuggly so I am having another pair of UGGS for xmas as my feet need them.
Wondering if I can somehow reinforce the new pair inside before my awkward big toe starts poking up!

Medusa/Lady cut a piece of insole - preferably sheepskin - and push it inside the toe area, works a treat!

eurochick · 02/12/2013 07:56

The toe shape seems to have changed recently- it's not sloping like it used to be. So newer ones might be fine.

Google the CEO of uggs and email them a photo with a polite letter of complaint.

You never know your luck Wink
