Navy trousers in the winter

Am starting back at work unexpectedly after 11 years off(gulp) and desperately need some work clothes - probably mostly trousers and tops as I'll be teaching in a special school and there will be a certain amount of rolling about on the floor going on :) Have no problem finding smartish black trousers, but I can't find navy ones. I think the problem is that I wear boots most of the time in the winter, so it's the navy trouser/boot combination which is hard. I have some summer cigarette-type trousers in navy, which I wear with pumps, but this won't work in winter - I don't think anyway. Help - am 53 btw and a size 14, 5ft 9 tall. Don't really do heels. Have size 8 feet as well, so pointy shoes make me look like a clown.

Cigarette would work with ankle/shoe boots
I have some lovely navy flannel trousers from Laura Ashley, they have some here but not sure they're the same as mine are ancient!
