Have seen these on QVC, are they worth the money?

They are REALLY comfortable - but you will be accused of beinng a lentil weaver!!

MaggieW · 14/07/2006 13:00

Well a foot count at the nursery gate this morning showed at least ten Mums in them! I've got the pale pink ones and they're soooo comfortable. Saw someone in some bronzey-brown ones and that's the colour I've got my eye on next. Office shoes have them for £30 and theyr'e always avail on Ebay.

I hate them - have the toe post ones and find them really hard on my toes....waste of money IMO

BigSister · 15/07/2006 21:00

They´re comfy, available in every size going. Just make sure you have bold nail polish with them to avoid being treated like a lentil weaver...

dont get the toe post ones. i have 2 pairs, the slip one (madrids?) in ornage which i use for walking about the house/garden/short walks, and a white sandel typwe pair with ankle strap. they are in their 2nd summer now, and i have just noticed the white ones are wearing down at the heel. bear in mind i do live in the white ones more than any other shoes i own.

Several shoe shops do similar shoes but cheaper. Have tried on the real thing & didn't like the feel of the bottom part of them.

I love Birkenstocks. This \link{http://www.footshopping.com/main.cfm?MI=6} is a good source of reasonably-priced ones.
