one dress from party to christmas lunch

Looking for a dress, with sleeves to cover all christmas festivities from parties to the big turkey lunch.But really dont like all the black lace out there some of it is really nasty.
Looking for inspiration online as cant face getting in and out of changing rooms with bags full of christmas shopping.
