Moisturiser to use on a four year old?

Maybe not the right place for this but DD's face has become chapped this week with the cold especially her lips and cheeks. What would you put on her face? I had some E45 lotion which I used which helped - would the cream be okay on her face? I used Lanolips on her lips which was great and Blistex this morning. I am conscious that we are going skiing in a few weeks and don't want her to be sore but think that my regular face creams might be too rich. I know what lip balms work but really wanted to ask about face creams. Thanks.

Aveeno cream!

Another vote for Aveeno.

Ds1 is 4 yo and has inherited my dry skin. The doctor gave him diprobase cream which can go on his face.

DeepThought · 27/11/2013 20:32

Yep

sheeplikessleep · 27/11/2013 20:34

Aveeno again, deffo

OPeaches · 27/11/2013 20:34

I came on to day either aveeno or diprobase-type excema cream, but I see I'm too slow off the mark.

lisbapalea · 27/11/2013 20:35

Another aveeno vote!

petitdonkey · 27/11/2013 20:35

Have never heard of Aveeno!! Sounds perfect, will I get it in Boots?

Yes, make sure it's cream, not the lotion form. About£7 but worth it

petitdonkey · 27/11/2013 20:38

Just googled it, do you all use the cream or the specific face moisturiser?

Weleda is great. They also do a weather protection cream.

petitdonkey · 27/11/2013 20:39

Thanks Sheep - you answered my question before I asked it!!

Doublebase. Fab if the skin has become itchy/ irritated as well as just dry.

VerySmallSqueak · 27/11/2013 20:41

Mine use the doublebase they were prescribed for eczema.

I also often use it a a face cream.

ihearttc · 27/11/2013 20:48

Pure Potions is amazing-only thing which works on my boys faces.
