Do knee bouts make our legs look longer or shorter?

I am 5'4" and slightly on the chubby side, size 12/14. Big boobs don't help and i also have fatter calves than I used too. Sad

I have no idea what suits me any more!

I need some boots and I keep veering between biker/walking kind of style and knee high riding style.

If I wore them with a long top and leggings, or a shortish dress and tights, which do you think would make me looks less fat basically?

ThanksWine

well I'm only 5ft tall and my legs look pretty decent in knee highs. Although I am skinny, I haven't always been and I've always found them flattering.

Why not try some with a few different out fits?

Also I meant to say a calf boot which is potentially hitting you on the widest part of your lower leg would visually cut your leg in half IYSWIM.

So whatever boot you choose go for one which highlights and lengthens.

A chunky ankle boot or a shoe boot can give the illusion of a slender calf.

If you wear them over differently coloured trousers and you're short, they can be stumpifying.

Thanks all. Smile

I think I might try some sturdy ankle ones and maybe slightly smarter knee highs. I obviously now need both!
