Cross body bag - moving away from changing bag...

I'm looking for a cross body bag.

Dd is 2.5yo and potty trained. She's pretty reliable so I can dispense with a lot of the contents of my changing bag. :)

I'd like a cross body bag that's roomy enough for my stuff and a few bits for dd - wipes, snack, that sort of thing.

Where should I look?
Cath kidston and Radley seem standard 'mum' bags round here but I don't like either (too twee or dull).

TIA :)

Scaramanga satchels are nice. Softer leather than the Cambridge company / Zatchels type ones.

I'm looking for a similar one too but not sure what to get either, would like a leather one preferably ..

Should have said my budget is under £50.

Not sure a satchel is quite what I want either. Confused

TK Maxx might be a good bet. I find the bags aren't as jumble sale-y as the clothes.

What about this:

Too small maybe?

I love my kipling bags nice and strong and lightweight

Suddengeekgirl · 25/11/2013 22:17

Kipling bags might be more the style I'm after.
Might have a look at the patterned ones...

I'm on a similar quest. Best options so far are Fossil and Nat & Nin.

I have been sporting a spotty Cath Kidston for the last couple of years which is a good size, but quite casual. Also made of fabric so a pain if raining. A cross body bag is on my Christmas list and I am directing DH to White Stuff, which has some lovely leather ones, a bit more expensive though at £65-80. I have spent many hours in TK Maxx but most of the cross body bags are quite satchel-y.
