Help me style this dress / what type of shoes?

This dress will be delivered tomorrow but I have no idea what shoes to wear with it. I was thinking brown, possibly shoe boots or ankle boots. Anyone have any suggestions?

I'd probably go slightly edgy, a bit scruffy (but artfully, y'know), ankle boots. Just to toughen it up and de-80's it. Anything too dainty will look a bit prissy, I think.

Totally agree. I mean I have no idea if this dress is even going to work in real life but I hope so because I love the colour and the long sleeves. How about the Ash Spiral or something like that?

Nyancat - I received the dress arrived today and it's better in real life! The sizing is big as seems to be the case with asos own brand dresses. I am usually a UK 6-8 but took the 4 in this for a perfect fit. Bra straps show so I'm going to wear a really good strapless bra I have so the neckline looks neat & tidy :)

Great colour. Going to get mine shortened a bit and wear with tights and heeled ankle boots. Can be dressed up or down.
