Hi
I need advice/ recommendations for a foundation or blemish balm that gives a reasonable coverage, doesn't look like Ive used a trowel and doesn't cost the earth. I know I don't want much Blush
My skin is pale and its dry but since starting peri menopause I have spots that are just red then go scabby/ dry. Annoying as I never had bad skin as a teenager. Its quite sensitive at the moment as well.
I have never been good at skin care routines and the like so it needs to be a slap it on product.
I have been using Olay touch of foundation and L'Oreal nude magic BB cream - I like both as they are light and I don't feel like Ive got anything on but I could do with a bit a lot more help without going darker IFYSWIM.
TIA for any help

I have the same - No 7 instance radiance is good and doesn't flake as long as I moisturise well beforehand.

Have you tried a light dusting of mineral foundation? I really rate Lily lolo. It's not too expensive (or you can get trial samples for a couple of £) It's a different league from the mainstream mineral foundations from loreal etc that where everywhere a couple of years ago.
If you don't like mineral foundation I also really like Loreal CC cream.(not bb cream) The purple one designed for dullness is excellent and actually gives good coverage but doesn't feel like you are wearing anything.
I struggle a lot with wearing any liquid makeup on my face. I just want to scratch it off and it makes me feel dirty but I love that Loreal one.
