My Bayswater is fake... but better made than the real thing. Do I wear it?

Bought the baby secondhand and he is lovely, heavenly rich Oak leather, matches the Mulberry website in every teeny tiny detail except for a missing Made In Tag. Just got him verified on the Purse Forum and apparently he - the bag - is fake.

But I've got other Mulberry bags and, frankly, this one is better made, is anything. So am I being Style Unreasonable to carry on wearing it? I think not, but tell me if I am being achingly naff.

I used to wear handbags when I was 5yo. Upside down on my head like a funny helmet.

Now I just tend to carry them.

HTH.

there's no such thing as a fake bag - you can put stuff in it and carry around. A 'fake' bag would be made out of gas with a hole in the bottom
