Tried an aline skirt and vest with little shrug and looked round. What on earth will flatter me?!

5'2, size 14, large calves and upper arms am a beaut! 28yo and dark hair, almost olivey skin.

I'm here but I'm just blundering about the place linking to things people hate Grin

Shall I find something you hate?

tethersend · 24/11/2013 17:54

What's your budget?

MortifiedAnyFuckerAdams · 24/11/2013 18:36

£50 ish but if it is also suitable for a spring wedding then £85

Doesn't totally fit the brief but I'm wearing this coast top for my parties & just wanted to link as it is totally forgiving on the waist. Would it work with any bottoms you have already? Plus a gorgeous necklace?

MortifiedAnyFuckerAdams · 24/11/2013 18:51

Ooh that would be good on the arms. Nice top, mainly own jeans which Im not able to wear to this party but I can look aroubd for trousers.

How do you feel about purple and silky?

tethersend · 24/11/2013 18:58

over budget but would be great for a wedding

StairsInTheNight · 24/11/2013 18:59

Oh Mortified, I am you plus pale skin & strawberry blonde hair.

I shall be wearing a big black matt silk shirt from Zara, with a black stretch tube skirt (comfy) and black knee boots. With some sparkly jewellery. This is my default winter going out outfit vuntil I lose weight. It looks nice actually!

MortifiedAnyFuckerAdams · 24/11/2013 19:04

Stairs have you foubd boots that fit? It is a never ending quest of.mine.

MortifiedAnyFuckerAdams · 24/11/2013 19:08

Mmm....puple and silky is quite high at the front; would feel like its right up around my neck.

MortifiedAnyFuckerAdams · 24/11/2013 19:09

Ooh I like the No Brainer one

StairsInTheNight · 24/11/2013 19:18

Yes, weirdly from an online place... trying to remember name.

I always choose suede effect as it seems more forgiving. Dorothy Perkins boots usually come up quite wide.

Choose something you are comfortable in- nothing worse than going out eating drinking and feeling like you want to burst out of your clothes. I usually try and do abit of cleavage to distract from the belly.

MortifiedAnyFuckerAdams · 24/11/2013 19:24

Yes, I could.manage a good cleavage
I also have dinky dot ankles which while.not helping the boot situation, is quite nice

OP posts:
StairsInTheNight · 24/11/2013 19:34

Me too, small feet, ankles and wrists- all very nice but my shotputter arms/calves do not look good by comparison!

I even have sort of muscular forearms... bleugh

MortifiedAnyFuckerAdams · 24/11/2013 19:39

Stairs we are cut from the same cloth.

I have the 30 Day Shred DVD which I am.cnsidering starting (tomorrow - ive a Chinese on order this evening) which may slim me

appletarts · 24/11/2013 19:42

Santa outfit? Sorry bad joke! I'm same shape so no idea at all.

StairsInTheNight · 24/11/2013 19:43

I have the shred languishing on a top shelf

Thats nice- now whenever I see your name I shall think of you suffering along side me, I do love being short, but being a short apple is no fun.

Also I have really excellent taste in clothes which I cannot indulge Hmm Grin - my pinterest board is groaning with Things I Shall Wear When I Am Thin...

MadeOfStarDust · 24/11/2013 19:46

Duo is great for boots - can get a standard "shoe" fit with a measured calf.... So tall boots that fit your feet AND legs... bit pricey - the ones I have now are £120 - they were £90 when I bought them 5 years ago - they last well...

MortifiedAnyFuckerAdams · 24/11/2013 19:50

apple ho ho fucking ho Grin

You sound similar to me. Most stuff either clings to my stomach or looks like maternity wear... Also have big boobs. I was thinking cami top might be the way to go.

MortifiedAnyFuckerAdams · 24/11/2013 19:52

Stairs my Pinterest is chocked full.off maxi sequinned skirts that I could live in wear

Im.just envisaging you as me but fairer. At least we have gorgeous smiles and dainty hands.

OP posts:
MortifiedAnyFuckerAdams · 24/11/2013 19:52

full of of of

OP posts:
MortifiedAnyFuckerAdams · 24/11/2013 19:53

green at least with big boobs a cami will come down off your boobs far enough away from your tummy not to cling.

Might buy a wonderbra
