Opinions needed - Orinoco Club boots with dress and leggings?

I was boot hunting today and saw these boots being worn. They look great (in my opinion).

Are they wearable with a tunic type dress and leggings? I would get the black boots.

Oh OK...I didn't really do black boots but think the tan ones are nice and would be quite versatile I think.

I have these and wear them often with opaques and a dress. They're good...

I now have my boots. I asked if there was any discount and the assistant told me they would honour the 20% discount which was offered on line. So now I have lovely boot £10 cheaper than I expected to pay.

Snap ilovewales I have these boots and they are gorgeous. I'm sure they would look great in the black with leggings & dress. I've had them two years and they are the comfiest boots I've ever had. I've just ordered a new pair (with the discount!) for when these ones die.

I have them in brown to wear with skinnies, was thinking of getting the black to wear with dresses as they are so comfy.

Haven't worn the brown ones with skirts or dresses yet - for some reason I don't think it would work.

Ilovemydog - do the boots stretch a bit in the width? I have the 5 wide fitting which are a bit tight. The 5.5 in wide were flapping around like Wellie's on me!

Yes they do. I had the extra width fitting. The first day I wore them they rubbed the side of my heel a little bit but from then on it was like wearing slippers! They are such a nice soft leather that they soon mould to the shape of your foot. Enjoy!

I'd love to wear ankle boots with leggings/dresses...but my skinny legs always look odd as my feet are larger than average! I really don't get why boots get wider in the leg as the sizes go up...a size 4 knee boot would be great around the leg, but way too small on the foot!
