Shoes etc. to go with this dress

Just bought THIS Vivienne Westwood dress which I love and which really suits me - actually looks much better on, not so tinfoil and the drapey-ness makes it look let shrink-wrap/plasticky.

Anyway I haven't bought a fabulous pair of shoes for YEARS and haven't got a clue what would go with this dress - any ideas what to wear with it? It looks quite good dressed down a bit over skinnies with boots but how do I party it up? Is nude tights a total no no?

(Oh and it was £99 in TK Maxx...result!)

Oh I should say it's described as 'gold' but it's actually very coppery/rose gold in colour though definitely metallic.

I literally haven't bought any nice shoes since my feet went a size bigger after DD1 over 4 years ago! I'm sick of squashed out of fashion feet or boots!!!

Wow! I'd wear it with black opaques and black suede shoeboots, as high as you can possibly stand. :)

Yeah, I was thinking of something with a bit of 'chunk' on my feet, bit minnie mouse style!

Any other ideas? :-)
