Can anyone help me with bra measurement please

I just got dh to measure me and I'm 38 underneath and a 44 at fullest bent over does this make me a 38f as that seems rather a big cup size

Any help greatly received as I know I'm wearing the wrong bra at the minute 40D as the cups are gapping

After following bra advice on style and beauty my boobs never looked better (whilst wearing a bra anyway)

a 40D cup is the same cup/wire size as a 38DD.

I would try a 38D, i you are saying the 40D (38DD equivalent cup wise) is too big on the cup. The 40, being a bigger band might mean the cup on it is on the wrong part o your boob, making it gape.

or, 36E i you can bear to go a bit tighter.

I have a 38d but im bulging over the sides when the 40 got big I just got the next size down but it's far to small

ok so then the 38dd or even E depending on the make.

Try the 38e to start. The gaping could well be due to thetoo big band or the style

If you are bulging over the sides try a bigger cup and really hoick all the spare flesh from your back/sides into the the cup.

OK after ages of lurking on these threads I finally got measured this morning 33ish under and 39ish around. Am I correct with 32/34 E/F I currently wear 36C which I am very aware does not fit , did have F cups when bf but was never measured
Can one of you bra experts check my thinking please

CMP69 I'd try a 32E/F and a 34DD/E. I suspect the 32F will be the best fit in many styles.

CMP69 As Stats says, the band or style could be affecting things quite a lot. Are you scooping?
