Black tights with blue and gold- big no no?

Hi ladies

I've just bought a lovely top- its sort of baggy, with a hem at the bottom and sort of batwingy type arms with hems at the sleeves so it doesn't hang loose. Not sure if that make sense? I cannot find it online for the life of me.
It's navy blue with a gold sequin star in the middle.

I want to wear a gold sequin skirt (mini, most probably) with it but I am wondering what to wear on legs/feet. I don't do heels at all so will probably settle for pumps and I have some lovely blue patent ones. So, tights-wise, can I get away with black or should they be blue? I want nice warm ones (no bare legs, not with my knees!) and have loads of black 60 denier ones but will it look awful or do I need to seek out blue ones?

Anyone?

Btw, I can't realltpy wear nude tights. Partly cos of my psoriasis but also cos I can't find the right shade. And also because I've got fat thighs and I'd look awful.

I think I might have to wear skinny jeans....

I love navy and black. As long as your shoes/boots are also black I think black opaques will work fine

Blue almost as bad. Wear the skinny jeans.

I'd go for black! Have a similar issue with nude tights and wear black opaques with everything. Not sure about the shoes though - if they are brightish blue ( enough to look properly different from your tights) or gold I'd go for it, otherwise black shoes for preference.

Shoes are dark navy so too dark.

I really don't want to wear skinnies. They are my everyday wear and this outfit is a Christmas party outfit. Unless I look awful in the skirt, which is highly likely.
