Can you help me find a lovely scarf for my DH please?

Sorry I know this is usually for women's style and beauty but something told me you were the ones to ask :)

I can't really get to the shops so will be buying online but don't really know where to start. Ideally around £100 - I know that is a lot to spend on a scarf but DH buys very few things, spends a lot per item but then wears them out. He has been wearing a Smedley scarf for the last 15 years but it has got holes in it now.

It is to go with a navy wool coat, he has silverfox brown hair and blue eyes.

Any ideas very gratefully received! Thank you.

I'm thinking of getting DP this Brora scarf to match my wrist warmers that he "borrowed".

SashaOfSiberia · 19/11/2013 13:50

Do you want something that is a chunky knit or a fine knit?

UntamedShrew · 19/11/2013 14:23

A fine knit but not so fine it is pointless, if you see what I mean. Definitely not too chunky though.

Off to check out the Brora one now - thanks for the suggestion!

I was looking at this one for DH earlier, but have a look on Liberty in general, they have lots of beautiful good quality ones within budget.

Hi there, i like the cashmere ones that Pure Collection do and got one for my DP. They are special enough for a present. Somewhere on MN you can find good discount codes that get you 25% off. Not sure if colours what you need - maybe the charcoal grey.

I got my dh a lovely scarf from here a couple of years ago, search scarves on their website.

Wildthong I like the look of those, what's the quality like and how long did delivery take?

Chottie · 20/11/2013 05:57

How about Paul Smith scarves? I just bought one for my BiL from Fenwicks, it was gift wrapped too. :)

I think it was 7 - 10 working days, and the quality is lovely, happy to recommend them. I got a cerise pashmina as well, very soft and long and wide, a good weight too, it hangs lovely, (they were reduced to £30 at the time) and I get loads of comments and compliments. They are all a 80% cahmere 20% silk I think.
