Quick! Need opinions - is this dress too young for a 39 year old?

I need something to wear to a party on Saturday so ideally need to order something tonight. I have no idea what to wear but liked this dress as it will cover my arms. Would wear it with black opaques and black heels.

What does everyone think? If you all agree it will make me look like mutton how's about helping me to find a stylish jumpsuit instead???

I think it looks fantastic. Have you got the legs for it? I'd wear it if I were lighter and I'm 53. Black opaques, good shoes.

It's lovely - wear it with opaques and it won't matter if it's a little on the short side (which will depend on your height)

It's a great dress. I would love to wear it (whatever my age!) if I had the legs for it. Have a great party.
