I think hunter wellies come up quite big - I'd stick to her normal size.

Dd is a 13.5 we just got purple in a 1 and they are on the small side. Her pink size 13 ones fit in the same way with welly socks. Going to return and get a 2. Must ebay the pink ones.

Anywhere near a stockist to try them on?

carrielou2007 · 18/11/2013 21:49

Oh no really? Nearest place lovely John Lewis but it's 25 mikes away and I'm not driving again yet (another eye op) so was going to click and collect so do I do 13 with welly socks or not...hmmmmmm...!!

i guess willies are better to be big than small, so go for bigger size and nice thick wellie or fluffy socks over the top of normal socks, not like you can walk properly in willies anyway.

how tall is dd? as the original ones are quite tall and last year they were up to dds knees. I can measure the 13 that I have at home later I that would be helpful, or you could look at the first hunter boots, they go up to a 1 www.hunter-boot.com/kids-first/red

best typo ever.

DD's hunters were incredibly small - she needed a 2 when she was a 13.5. They are a bit crap though and fall apart.

PottyLotty · 20/11/2013 12:40

My DD wanted hunters but she tried them and they were very baggy around the foot but not long enough.

She has normal fitting shoes on the width and takes a size 1 in length but only the 2 was long enough but very wide around her foot. I think with welly socks they would be a better fit however, I take a size 3 and purchased a size 3 for me and they are too big Grin.

SO basically my post is useless because they didnt fit my DD being to small for size but they were too big for me. Sorry, thought I was being helpful but im not Confused
