you know the sort, they're all over the place. anyway, i just bought one with a raccoon on it but i'm not sure if i look silly because i'm in my 30's. are they a bit childish? do you have one and how old are you?

I don't have one as I'm not keen on 'novelty' clothes for myself. I wouldn't think twice about someone else wearing one though.

Titsalinabumsquash · 18/11/2013 16:56

I have hundreds. Grin

Titsalinabumsquash · 18/11/2013 16:57

I'm 27

polyhymnia · 18/11/2013 17:33

I personally think they have been done to death now they are all over the place including in cheap looking versions, but if people still like them and it gives them pleasure to wear them - eg for Christmas, like reindeer jumpers - why not, whatever their age?

Financeprincess · 18/11/2013 18:09

Are you older than 12? If so, yes.

Shoutymomma · 18/11/2013 18:25

It depends on the animal. How about a wood louse? Or a wildebeest?

itscockyfoxagain · 18/11/2013 18:27

I'm 30 and I have a lovely one with a badger on.

hellymelly · 18/11/2013 18:28

I would LOVE a woodlouse sweater. If there's one out there, I'm buying it.

Amrapaali · 18/11/2013 18:29

I have one with a tiger. I quite like it. Ro-oaarrr!!

neontetra · 18/11/2013 18:31

I am 35 and have the Sainsburys fox one and I bloody love it. DH's best friend is 40 and has the exact same jumper (pure coincidence) and she loves it too. My mom did hint that it makes me look like a knob, though.

sleepdodger · 18/11/2013 23:28

They're everywhere and will be about next year too due to catwalks coming through
Whether you care about that or not is irrelevant, but it means that there will continue to be loads in shops and as people get more used to them more buy them iyswim!
But to answer your question I think it depends on the type of pattern!
I've seen the fox on a few ages and it looks good, just a pattern etc
I struggle more when it's 'babe' on a 45year old next to a 10 year old in similar...

thanks for your replies. it's going back. it's a raccoon and i've decided to get a boring plain jumper instead. i feel better having made that decision.

I think you're right! Enjoy your new jumper.
